01: Breathtaking view of Langtang range

The Langtang region is the fittest to get the stunning view of the Langtang Himal range which is at 7258 m. The region grants impeccable sights of other mountain ranges. The mountains in the region are Langtang Lirung 7246 m., Gang Chhenpo 6388 m., Naya Kangri and Dorje Lakpa 6966 m. Other mountains are also seen from the Langtang trekking trail. It includes Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Himchuli, and the Annapurna Range.


02: Gosaikunda lake

The Gosainkunda lake situated at 4380 m. holds great religious significance along with the serene view of the peaks, rocky terrain, and glaciers. Being a Hindu and a Buddhist pilgrimage, Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims trek up to the lake. This area is home to 108 other beautiful lakes as well. With a little trek up from the Gosaikunda lake, we can see the beautiful panoramic view of the Annapurna range.


03: Tamang and Sherpa village

Langtang region resides in the Tamang and Sherpa communities. The community and their culture certainly make us feel welcomed. Here in the Tamang and sherpa village, we get to see the ethnic people of the community.


04: Art and architecture

There are many Gompas and Monasteries throughout the way. We get to see the beautiful and exemplary sights of these monasteries. The pagoda-style structures and the gold-plated paintings manifest the rich arts and architecture. This man-made beauty does not fail to amaze us either.


05: Cheese factory

Yak cheese is manufactured in this region. After the massive earthquake that affected most parts of the Langtang region, the Kyan jin cheese center is reconstructed and back in business. On the way to Kyan Jin gompa from the Langtang village, we reach the cheese factory. We get to taste the delicious yak cheese which would no doubt be heart filling to cheese lovers.
